Obituary for Frank Nash

Lee passed away peacefully on Jan. 5, 2018 at his home in Walnut Creek.

Born to parents Frank and Virginia Nash, Lee was raised in Stockton, CA where he made many lifelong friendships that he nourished throughout his life.

After serving in the National Guard, he moved to the Bay Area where he graduated from Cal State Hayward. A 46-year resident of Walnut Creek, Lee established Creative Concrete which he owned and operated for more than 30 years, retiring in 2009.

Lee is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary, son Tom and wife Leslie, daughter Katie, brother Jim, sisters Jane and Sally, foster sister Shirley and two grandsons, Max and Wyatt. In addition, he leaves behind many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.

Lee enjoyed life, always found time to be with family and friends, and pursued his many interests. He usually had a project and could often be found working on old trucks, fly fishing, riding motorcycles, playing cards, cooking, traveling and enjoying music. He was fun, funny, loyal and generous. He will be greatly missed.

The family is grateful to the Kaiser Hospice staff for their kindness and support and to Caring Bridge for sharing Lee's journey.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lee's memory to the Cancer Support Community of the Bay Area, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or a charity of your choice.

A Celebration of Lee's life will be held on March 4, 2018 from 1-4 pm at the Lafayette Veterans Memorial Center, 3780 Mt. Diablo Blvd., Lafayette, CA 94549.
