Obituary for Catherine Cosgrove

Catherine Ann Cosgrove, age 87 of Walnut Creek, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2018. Preceded in death by parents Andrew and Florence, brother Richard (Dorene) Cosgrove and sister Andrea (Mike) Morse. She is survived by brother Daniel (Narcissus) Cosgrove and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly and who cherish their memories of Auntie Cathie.

Catherine was born and raised in Oakland, attended St. Elizabeth HS and went on to be a model of dedication in her professional career as well as her devotion to her faith. For much of her career, Cathie was the Executive Secretary to the President of the Clorox Corporation, a role she loved and excelled at. She was also a leader of the Young Ladies Institute (YLI) an organization of Catholic Women committed to charitable support in the community.
