Obituary for Alexander Montelongo

Alexander "Fatty" Montelongo was nicknamed after Fatty Arbuckle, the silent movie star. He was the third son of Alejandro and Liboria Montelongo. He lived in North Beach San Francisco until he served in World War II in the US Navy. . He later met and married the love of his life Alicia at a dance in San Francisco. They first lived in San Francisco's Mission district and later moved during the mid-sixties to Daly City. In 1987 Fatty retired and moved to American Canyon.

Fatty spent his retired years enjoying the Oakland A's, popular music and the Lawrence Welk program.His wife Alicia passed away in 2005.

Fatty is survived by sisters Armida Adan and Mary Louise Chantri and brother Dan Montelongo.

Funeral services will be on Thursday January 18th 10:00am at Hull's Walnut Creek Chapel followed by internment at Olivet Memorial Park, Colma.
